Opening Hours

Galleries and Shop open 10am – 5pm

Closed Mondays and Bank Holidays

Occasionally our Galleries need to close whilst we install new exhibitions. Please check what’s on before you make your journey to avoid disappointment.

Access

Our building is fully accessible for wheelchair users. For visually impaired visitors we can provide large print guides to the exhibitions. Guide dogs welcome.

Getting Here

By Car – CFCCA is located 5 minutes away from both NCP and Euro car parks

By Train – We are a 10 minute walk from both Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly train stations.

From Manchester Victoria train station – Turn left out of the main entrance and walk south-east on Victoria Station Approach, towards the National Football Museum. With the museum on your right turn left onto Withy Grove and continue up hill past the Printworks. CFCCA is located on Thomas Street which is a right-hand turn directly opposite Shudehill bus interchange and Metrolink stop.

From Manchester Piccadilly train station – Exit via Station Approach and walk downhill towards Piccadilly Gardens. Turn right onto Ducie Street, then left on Dale Street for approx 450m before turning right onto Oldham Street. Take the next left onto Thoams Street and continue – CFCCA is on the right hand side opposite Trof bar and after Bluu Bar.

CFCCA is also home to the offices of Redeye, the Photography Network, a not-for-profit organisation set up to support photographers at every level and build networks across photography. It has subscribers and users across the UK and globally. Redeye give photographers access to events, opportunities, advice and information that are relevant to their work and difficult to find elsewhere.
