NOW: A dialogue on female Chinese contemporary artists

We launch our new season 'Concepts of Gender' with the opening of NOW: A dialogue on female Chinese contemporary artists. CFCCA are leading a national collaborative programme, which includes some of the most exciting female artists working in China today. As part of this we are showcasing seven emerging female Chinese artists in an exhibition exploring themes of identity and perception. This unique presentation includes several new commissions and work that has never been seen in the UK before.

Now is co-organised by Plus Tate, the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art in collaboration with HOME, Manchesterl Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art; Nottingham Contemporary and Turner Contemporary, Margate. The programme is sponsored by the China National Arts Fund and supported by British Council, China.
